"You are good. But it is not enough to be good. You must be good for something. You must contribute good to the world.
The world must be a better place for your presence. And the good that is in you must spread to others."

Kids Say the Darnest Things

Elisabeth asked me why I had hair over my lip, I told her everyone has hair all over their body but that she was making me embarrassed about it (it's what we say when we're trying to explain to the kids what they said wasn't very appropriate to point out). She then assured me by saying, "well you can get 'laber' hair removal then you'll never have to shave again!" Well I don't know where she heard about laser hair removal but I was sure to tell her I don't shave!" Maybe I will have to look at getting it taken care off though! Ha ha ha!

My incredible hubby has been taking the kids out to ride bikes, play basketball, or otherwise run off some energy outside nearly every day since he's been home. As I watched him holding Amelia and playing with Elisabeth and Noah outside this afternoon, I couldn't help but truly appreciate my blessings. I am so grateful that he is home safe from Afghanistan. I am very happy for three wonderful children. I am extremely lucky to have been able to marry such a great man who has turned out to be a fabulous father and husband. I love him to death!
